Biography​

John Kennedy is a Director, Writer and DOP living in Tramore. He has 12 years experience working in the TV and Film industry, working on projects like ‘The Young Offenders’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘Veronica Guerrin- The documentary’, loads more documentaries and short films, most notably the Oscar-nominated short film ‘Detainment’.

For the last couple of years, he has been writing and directing his own material that has been featured at international film festivals, Irish arts festivals, 'Other Voices'  and most notably, the award-winning short Documentary ‘ The Happy Herd’.

He is currently in pre-production for his latest short film ‘Bang’ which will be filmed in Tramore with mostly Waterford cast and crew.
