Filmmaking Event Kicks Off

Meet from 11am at the Waterford Film Centre.

Begin at midday.
Sunday July 20th

12 midday Submission deadline.

7pm Screening & Awards Ceremony that evening in St. Patrick's Gateway.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Any Genre.
-
The Theme is Creative Community.
-
Duration - 5 minutes maximum for adults.
-
Duration - 90 seconds for teenagers.
-
We will give a prop, a line of dialogue and any Waterford landmark to be used in your film.
-
Films must be shot, and edited within the 24 hour timeframe.
-
Top 10 best projects will be selected to take place for Adults.

There will be Award Categories for all departments e.g, Best film, cinematography, acting, editing...
-
Crew minimum 5+
-
For insurance purposes, ALL CREW MEMBERS must be a member of Waterford Film Centre.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Film on any type of camera including your phone as long as its widescreen format (16:9 aspect ratio).

Submit a high resolution .mp4 for final file delivery.

Clear audio and steady as possible visuals encouraged.

All projects must include end credits with all participants acknowledged within the 5 min time limit.
COPYRIGHT & PERMISSIONS

Only copyright free or appropriately licensed music can be used.

No stock footage or Generative AI allowed.

Participants must have permission from everyone featured in their film. (signed talent release form)
-
Creators retain all the rights; organisers have permission to screen.
